hummm i was thinking of getting a sleep number, because you know you can change it. well im kind of like that, if i use a conditioner for to long it stops working like it used to, and i have to change it. i like having the option of being able to just push a button and my bed will feel different then it did before. but the memory foam one sounds like peoplelike that one i guess ill have to test one. i havent seen one anywhere though. i dont go to the bed store all that often lol

Aside from ,000, that is. Dux Bed is sooo comfy but I don’t think I can spend that much on a mattress. European Sleep Works seems like the same thing — anyone know?

I have a one bedroom apartment and I only really use the bedroom and bathroom. Not much of a cook so the kitchen isn’t used much. I live in an old apartmetn and the ac unit is old and won’t be replaced. It is very hot here and the electric bills are high even though I shut my ac off constantly and spend most of my time sweating. I was thinking of shutting off the vents to the other rooms and only having them open in the bed/bath area and keeping the door closed and spending my time in there. This is especially important at night when i am trying to sleep and my fan is useless and opening the windows is not an option without I want to be murdered. I live upstairs but the windows are still accessible from the front porch. Does anyone know if doing this might make a difference on my bill? I am trying to stay cool but I can’t afford a big bill.
Opening my windows insn’t an option for noise, safety reasons, my allergies, etc. I live in an apartment so the windows and doors won’t be made any tighter or anything because they don’t really care.
The thermostate and vent is in my bedroom and even when I cool the whole house, the ac never shuts off.
There isn’t any cool air to be found outdoors as it is nearly 100 out and humid.
Please note I live in an apartment and they never inspect the ac and the freon is always running out but it is impossible to get them to do anything very quickly (there are about 400 apartments here) Repair isn’t an option for me.

I live aboard my 40′ cabin cruiser and a regular mattress is way too much hassle. I’ve been using the cheapie air mattresses from Walmart. I find them very comfortable but they only last 5-6 months before they start to leak. Shopping on-line is out because they mostly look like overpriced cheapies. Also, I can’t use one of the "raised" models – I just need a regular height twin mattress that’s comfortable and will last. Any suggestions?

My honey fell asleep with a chew in and it got on our duvet! Any ideas on how to get it out since you can’t put it in the washer and dry cleaning it would be super expensive…

I have a cool bedskirt as well as belongings underneath my bed that I would like to cover up — but would a bedskirt be used on a platform bed? Or is that just a no-no that clashes?
