I just bought a bike and I installed the rear brake’s cable, but for the front cable I am having trouble installing it because I can’t get the inner brake cable wire to be loose to spring it back into the key hole slot and to put on the cable cap. Btw… Its a bmx bike and can someone tell me how to do it, or if you guys have a video or image to show? Thanks

Lubricate.
Put grease on the inner cable before threading it through the outer cable housing.
The Sheldon Brown site is good for reference.
