I know this sounds confusing but please read and help me.

Now in the above pic if I had to push the bed on that wall( not the headboard side, lengthwise) then how would I avoid the protruding slab from jutting out?

I have slept on a waterbed for 5 years. I have not had any problems with it but I am not allowed to have one in my next apartment so I was wondering if I could get an air mattress for the waterbed frame instead. I do not have any back issues.

The apartment complex I live in is infested with cockroaches and bedbugs. We are having an exterminator come in and get rid of them ourselves. I can’t find my apartment complex listed anywhere on the internet or anywhere. I also do not want any more problems with my landlord or manager till we move after the extermination of bugs in OUR apartment.

i recently moved into an apartment that was already furnished. it came with a full sized bed with a metal frame. ever since i moved in i have been having lower back pains, usually most sever in the morning/afternoon. i am only 18 and only slightly overweight so those are out of the equation.
i am almost certain my problems arise from my mattress but is it possible that it could be the metal frame? it has horizontal bars spaced 4-5 inches apart along its length.
*if i am to get a new mattress are air mattresses a good/cheap alternative?* i’m on a bit of a budget and will be sleeping on the floor instead of the bed unless i can find a substitute.
lastly, any advice for lower back pain, such as cures or home made pain suppressants?
i’ll be on for several more hours so i’ll choose a best one tonight.

My roommate recently moved out of the apartment and since I have been sleeping on an air mattress I took advantage of the mattress and boxspring she left behind. I was putting my sheets on it when I saw 2 bedbugs on top of the sheet I had just put down. I don’t know if they came off the mattress or my sheets. I have had no bites or any symptoms of bed bugs before this. What should I do?

I live in upstate NY and just found out i have bedbugs in my apartment, is the landlord required to hire an exterminator and pay for all expenses? These things are a damn nightmare.

My apartment has been treated for bed bugs this morning with liquid spray and white powder all over. How toxic are these chemicals, should I stay somewhere else and how long should I wait before I clean up the mess?

They are all over the apartment complex, but they are in my couch, not in my bed. I have cats and am afraid of pesticides. Will they harm the cats? How do I get rid of the bugs?

I can’t afford to purchase a 0-0 frame. Why not go by the nails, and wood at a store and make my own? I can even paint it myself! I’dlike the pieces to have pegs connectors so that I can easily just take t he bed apart. Pictures of the bed are below, it doesn’t look to difficult. I woudln’t know where to get slats, or if I could even make them.Anyone have any ideas on how I could make this? I am a 24 year old student on a low low budget, moving into my first apartment. And this sounds like it would be a great project for me! All advice is helpful, thanks!
