I was exposed to bed bugs a little over 2 months ago. I have zero signs of them except one series of bites I got last night. I checked the box spring and mattress and sheets thoroughly but there are no signs. I am still paranoid. How long does it usually take after an exposure for you to see signs if you have them?
Today I found a bed bug on my bed. I got really scared. I searched for the rest of the bed but not able to find any more.
I m planning to move to my new home soon. Need advice what to do with my bed now?
Should I throw it away or take it to my new home?
Will bed bugs be hiding in sofas and other furniture too?

I have some bed bugs that I recently have picked up from an hotel or two, and am usually bitten once a night. But i’m moving soon, and since I know they could be just about anywhere, what should my strategy be to make sure that they don’t hitch a ride with me? I’m junking the mattress.
Have a 4 month old lab mix at home, and recently found that there are bed bugs in my bed, so was concerned that when I will do any kind of treatment for those bugs, it will definetely go into carpets too (a spray like thing) and since he is just mouthing anything these days, is it safe for him to come across that kind of a thing. I can keep him away while doing the treatment but eventually he will be playing there only.

I dont want to catch bed bugs! I was at a place where i heard about 5 people say they have bed bug so i was wondering if i could catch them just by sitting next to them.
I just noticed one bug in my bed i ran out and bought all these kinds of bed bug sprays and sprayed my mattress. When i did i noticed little black stains that smeared when i touched them. Is that bed bugs? If so, can i beat them on my own? What can i do? How long will it take to get rid of them? Please help. I dont have alot of money to get an exterminator.
We have bed bugs in the house that may or may not have gotten into the Ameircan Girl dolls. AG says there is no safe way to clean them. Anyone ever have this problem? Any suggestions beside throwing them out and starting over?

I bought a used mattress and with all the bed bug talk, I bought a plastic cover for the mattress. It’s been over 7 months, can I safely remove the plastic? I heard bed bugs feed off human flesh. True? Am I safe that they all died? Thanks
A friend of mine told me that he saw on "Animal Planet" that you have to pump hot air over 150 degrees into your house to get rid of bed bugs. Is there some other way to get rid of chiggers and bed bugs who somehow got into your house?
