Every year we go on a family vacation. The cost of the cabin (mountains) is divided by 4. my mother and father in law. bro in law and his wife. Other bro in law and his wife and kids. and us. well my oldest bro in law can not come so my mother in law had to cover their cost. In return she invited her brother. to take their place. Which is fair because she did have to come up with more of the share. Well her other brother/sis in law niece and great niece are in town and want to go too! She said ok. They do not have to help chip in! im pissed! We had a meeting tonight about what food we were taking who is making dinner what night..the added family isn’t making anything or taking anything. This cabin sleeps 10. It has 3 bedroom, and beds spread out. My mother in law expects us to give up our room to his aunt and uncle because of their age (60+). and the other bed room has to be for my sister in law because she is 7 months pregnant. WTH! my kids now have to sleep on air mattresses because there is no beds left, and now i have to give up my room to his aunt and uncle who haven’t paid diddly squat? How do you handle this?
it is a cabin in the mountains. There are 3 rooms that fit 2 people a piece (full bed maybe queen) then the loft portion of the cabin (up stairs) has 4 more beds there

I have to say, if you ever have to stay at APGs temporary lodging for more than a month, it’s not worth it. The husband and I had to stay in the pet friendly rooms which is the furthest building away. Our dog is small and very house broken, he is obedient and will hold urges until we take him out — regardless, they asked us to cage our dog if we had to leave (he’s only 17 lbs). We decided to just leave him in one of the back bedrooms of the small smokey two bedroom apartment. One day when the maid came, I said she can clean while I did some work on my laptop (it was just me there at the time) and it wasn’t much to clean, we didn’t even use their beds… and she said "uh we don’t do that while you’re here". I told her to just change the trash and leave. A day later we had note saying they will be there to clean since we left the do not disturb sign on the door. The rooms smelled of smoke (although they stress no smoking) and the heat is controlled — it will stay blasting and you have to turn on the AC or open the windows in the winter time. We used our own air mattress, sheets, pillows and towels instead of their beds and towels. They provided us with two bedrooms and a kitchen with unfinished cabinets, the inside had splinters all over it. Needless to say we bought our own paper dishes and cups. The rooms are all circa 1970′s we laid sheets down on the couch and sprayed Lysol over the chairs. We had to do the same when we asked to change rooms. The shower was at least clean. They charge an arm and a leg, at least the laundry room is free but not the best. Now, my family and I are going to rent something until we find a decent place to live b/c it is way over priced.

Lets say you lived in some kind of government housing complex and the beds weren’t assigned. It was just find a bed and sleep on it. Also more then 1 person per bed.

my wife and i are looking to change from our waterbed to something that my back will like better… the problem is we’ve been on a waterbed since the beginning (15 years) and don’t know what the best choice will be… that plus we don’t have a ton of extra cash right before christmas… so anybody with opinions and recommendations on the other types of beds please respond??

well me and my 2 good friends are all emo (they’re guys imma girl) and we’re all bisexual. I took them on a trip with me to my familys beach houses like every year. Our area has 2 rooms and they took the one with the 2 beds and i got the one with just one bed. we had all been in their room before bed and i had left a small bag in there so i went in to get it but i walked in on them making out. My partner got so drunk last night that he wet the bed!!!!!! On our brand new bed! which I sometimes cosleep with my daughter on (during day time naps when she wont go down). Dont worry she was not in the bed last night I would never have her in the bed with us when my partner is drunk. How do you go about cleaning urine out of the bed? i know things like this can grow things in your mattress which can increase the chances of SIDs. I asked the question in this category because Im sure mothers have the most experience of cleaning urine out of beds since kides wet the bed all the time

Its our first kitty and at night, she makes her way onto the bed and a) sits on our head or somewhere very near b) purrs so loud you can hear it through the matress (its kinda cute) and c) decides she wants to play at 3am.

She has shown no interest in the 2 beds we have bought her, even when we infused them with catnip.

I’ve tried putting her toys in the beds, moving her into the bed, but to no avail.

Has anyone been successful in getting their kitty to sleep in his/her own bed?

I am going to college in the fall and have heard that the dorm beds are extremely uncomfortable. I’ve been searching for a memory foam topper to help with that and have come up with a few questions. Can you use a twin size memory foam on a twin xl size bed? I am a short person and feel that it wouldn’t be that big of a deal. Also does anyone have a memory foam topper that they would recommend that has held up for a while. Thanks!

I started getting bit about 8 weeks ago. usually 2 to 3 bites at a time, or just one, sometimes close together, sometimes in various parts of my body. First it was just me for the first few weeks but now all 4 of us in my fam are getting bit, esp me and my little boy. We bombed with flea bombs twice. Then we thought it was bed bugs. We had 4 diff pest controls come and inspect, all 4 said we dont have them. But we still bought bed bug/water proof encasements for our mattresses box springs and pillows, the PCO treated our apt for bed bugs twice, and he was very very thorough, we covered the house in Diatamaceous Earth, we washed every stitch of clothing in our house and put them in air tight bags (which are currently being stored in my moms garage) we are living out of 2 trash bags worth of clothes. we put patrolleum jelly around the legs of the beds, we’v treated the car too, and steam cleaned the couch and the bed and all our chairs. We’v done every thing we can think of but we are still getting bit, and it recently started getting worse. They use to just bite my arms now im getting bit all over my face. IF ANY ONE HAS ANY IDEAS PLEASE HELP US. my poor son is losing his mind and so am i. its one thing for me to deal with it, but its heartbreaking when your 3 year old and 4mnth old have to deal with this too. please help us
