The mattress is 5 years old, Its a pillow top serta, it’s still just like new.
It got the lump from transporting to our house when I first got it.
It looks so ugly! I can’t even put nice blankets on it, because either way it still has a huge lump in it. There’s no hiding it. I’ve tried getting it out myself, but it seems al the fabric is bundled up.
I’ve thought about making a cut in it so i could get it out.
Any other options?

I live in the south and it gets hot here in the summer. Of course we keep our air conditioning on about 72. My daughter is 5 months and since its been winter she’s been in footed pajamas. Do you keep them in footed pj’s because they can’t have blankets? Or do you switch to a short sleeve or onesie?

It started about a 5 months ago – I am not sure which cat but I have a suspicion it’s the male. We had an older sofa downstairs in our soon to be tv/family room. During reno’s the cat (s)would urinate on the sofa. At first I chalked it up as disturbence in their lives. After a few washes the smell would not come out so in the garabage it went. I then set up a guest bed in this room for visiters. No sooner was the bed set up (with blankets) and the peeing started again. Stripped the bed and shampoo with "pet odour removel"- no peeing. Put new blankets for our company arriving, the minute they left peeing started. Stripped bed again – left it without blankets peeing stopped. Figured the habit was broken(been a month or more) – placed a blanket on the bed yesterday, woke today to a urinating spot on blanket (blanket was not used before – no cat odour). Note: cats are seniors (17 yrs) . I thought this maybe the issue I am addressing but it only happens when I set the bed up. Advise?

Is there anything I can use to make sure the air stays crisp and/or put in drawers and use on bedding so clothes and towels/blankets dont feel damp?

I live in an apartment with my family.
We’ve tried everything.
Getting new matresses, changing/bleaching sheets.
Hunting them down and spraying the bed with anti-bedbug spray.

And they’re still here!
I’m sleeping on the couch and I’ve checked my blankets before I sat down.

How do we get rid of them once and for all!?!?!

My dog always urinates on his dog beds. He will not pee on the floor if we take the bed away. He is almost 3 yrs old and never pees anywhere except for his bed. Any ideas on how to break this habit?
At night we put him in another room and he will pee on real dog beds or blankets we put on the ground.

In the last case scenario, an exterminator did come through here, but it was such a hassel having to put all clothing, linens, blankets away in plastic bags. Now these bugs are here again, and it’s -10 outside. My roommate won’t do the hassel again.
How can I take care of bed bugs myself? without the hassel? I just don’t want to get bitten in my bed at night. What will at least help?

I’ve got about 10 weeks left before my little man comes, (and hopefully not too early), but I just want to make sure I have everything I need. Not extras. If I really don’t need it, I’ll worry about getting it once he’s here. (I’m stationed in germany with my husband and we’re on a super small post, getting baby items means I have to shop online, or pay in euros which is rediculous, thanks u.s economy. ). But anyway, just a list of the basics would be super!

Here’s what we do have:
Car seat
a few blankets
tons of hats (like 20)
tons of onsies
-and outfits
-and socks
diaper bag
bedding stuff
little toys
and bath stuff.
*we’re getting a crib this weekend*

I know I need a ton of more stuff, I just can’t think of what to get now. haha thanks!!!!

so my bedroom smells like a 17 year old boy and it has a very tangy smell to it and febreeze, glade, no air freshener can seem to get it out. i’m guessing if i wash my blankets the blankets will smell better but maybe the stench is coming from my mattress? anyone have suggestions on how to get rid of this strange smell?
i have hardwood floors!
