So i’m going on a camping trip with my youth group for a week and one of the things on the list they gave us is a pad or an air bed. I was wondering if those air beds people use in the water that come in neon colors are okay to use for that purpose?
on sunday (it is Tuesday now) i am going on a school camp which is for 8 weeks (2 months)
i have to take pretty much everything (pretend your going camping (but in a house) and all the people there supply for you is a bed,mattress and a mattress protector. hey also give you normal things you would have in a house (a desk,chair, kitchen, + kitchen utensils the normal stuff you would have in a house.
but everything else i have to take, clothes, undies, donna, sheets shampoo conditioner everything
i am only allowed to take 3 bags (http://www.aaastorage.com.au/images/packaging/StorageBags.jpg)
and i also need to take things for hiking and random stuff like chocolate electronics hair driers hair straighteners all that sorta stuff
please i know this is a hard question and even if you have a couple of hints that would be great (i have already got a hint that if you put you donna into a sleeping bag cover yu can make it really small)
please please please please help!
We (friends and I) would like to go camping. We know what we need. But we dont know witch stores to buy them with the best deals. Heres the list of things we need to buy. So can you please list where we can find them with the lowest prices.

I’m going camping on saturday and I won’t be back until Monday at around 11:00 Lunchtime.
My brother is staying home and he’s 19 but he won’t remember to take care of them and he works everyday 12:00 daytime until 12:00 midnight. I guess my other brothers will be home, Brandon and Jeremy and and Jeremy has a girlfriend named Jessica who lives with us and she LOVES gerbils but she works too and Jeremy works all day, same with Brandon. Jeremy and Jessica are still moving in though, they’re living downstairs and they have to move all of their clothes and their mattress and dresser and TV and fish tank, all that stuff. So I don’t know what I can do with them… My mom strictly said that I cannot bring my gerbils. She won’t change her mind, either. Any ideas?
I’m going camping, I’ll be sleeping in a tent. We’re going to campgrounds, not just out in the woods lol. I’ll have a tent platform. Do I need an air mattress or will just a sleeping bad work?
I meant sleeping bag, not bad.
And will sleeping without an air mattress just be completely uncomfortable, like hard and painful? I’ve never been camping so idk what to expect or what a tent platform even is.
I’m thinking of going on a little cycling/camping trip around part of Scotland in a few weeks.
Most likely it will be for 3 – 5 days if all goes well. I will be carrying a rack on the back for a pannier bag which holds around 30 litres and also a small backpack for my more valuable items.
What sort of items can you recommend I bring? (Everything & anything you can think of)
To narrow it down, i have so far;
2 man tent
Sleeping bag
Air bed + pump
2 mess tins + cutlery
Flask
Small torch

If I buy a sleeping bag im thinking about buying the marmot trestles 15 degree bag. I’m thinking about buying that degree bag cause I want to use it for other seasons like fall & winter.

I have an extreme fear of foam. Not styrofoam or foam that comes from bubbles, but the type of foam that are in foam pits in gyms, or those cheap older headphones. For example, the foam mattresses people put down for camping, I can’t touch that. I will start gagging and have to wash my hands, or put on lotion, or something. My bare skin cannot touch foam at all. Does anyone else have this phobia or am I completely nuts? I have never met someone who has the same disgust and fear of foam that I have.
well ill be more specific i bought one of those air beds you use for camping and put it in my bed room and i threw away my old bed because it was all old and i discovered it had mold so i was disgusted and ive had that bed fo like 4 years so back to my question can air beds have dust mites
