Ok so, Im in a long distance relationship right now. I love my girlfriend with all my hart and shes te same. We have been together for two years now. So my girlfriend went camping with her mom and her moms friends last month and she was drinking….a lot. Now her mom went home because she had to work in the early morning. My girlfriend stayed with her moms friend. One of the friends brought one of their own friends that she did not know. He was very nice to everyone. Anyway I told her I didn’t like her being there with strange people drunk who are also drunk. I kept texting her that night and we always talk on the phone before she goes to bed every night. She fell asleep around 2AM and I hung up and went to bed because I thought she would be ok in the camper with her aunt. She calls me in the morning and tells me that the guy came into the camper and woke her up. He asked her if she was single(which he knew she wasn’t because she told him she was talking to me her boyfriend on the phone earlier.) She is hysterically crying at this point and she tells me first off that he DID NOT rape her. She tells me he was holding her down while kissing her. Now I heard how drunk she was on the phone and she was pretty shit-faced and her aunt took her to the camper. Anyway he held her face and was kissing her. I asked what else. She hesitates and answers that when she wouldn’t kiss him he grabbed her by the hair and shoved her down on him. She tells me he made her do it twice and she pulled away and tried to get off the mattress. But he was too strong so he kept her on the bed and took her by the throat and took her hand and did it with his hand. When he was done he went onto the camper couch and she ran out and cried then fell asleep on the lawn chair by where the fire used to be. She texts me in the morning and says that she was fine and when I asked if anything happened she told me. While she was telling me I was balling my eyes out crying. I don’t drink smoke or do drugs because I had a bad past and she promised she will go straight with me. I find out that she was not going to tell me until she asked her friend and she said she should tell me. I learn that and I feel like she lied to me, this makes me wonder if the story she told me was true. I wonder if it didn’t go like that like if she wanted it and if they did have sex and she cheated on me. The story she told me I do not consider cheating. After she told me that I left work took off the next couple days without telling her and came straight to her house and she cried on me all night.
This was a week after I asked her to marry me so shes my fiance not my girlfriend. I knew I couldn’t put her down about this I just needed to be there for her then…But now I don’t know what to do.
Im not looking for the answer to a specific question Im just really lost right now and I need a good overall opinion on this.

I have to say, if you ever have to stay at APGs temporary lodging for more than a month, it’s not worth it. The husband and I had to stay in the pet friendly rooms which is the furthest building away. Our dog is small and very house broken, he is obedient and will hold urges until we take him out — regardless, they asked us to cage our dog if we had to leave (he’s only 17 lbs). We decided to just leave him in one of the back bedrooms of the small smokey two bedroom apartment. One day when the maid came, I said she can clean while I did some work on my laptop (it was just me there at the time) and it wasn’t much to clean, we didn’t even use their beds… and she said "uh we don’t do that while you’re here". I told her to just change the trash and leave. A day later we had note saying they will be there to clean since we left the do not disturb sign on the door. The rooms smelled of smoke (although they stress no smoking) and the heat is controlled — it will stay blasting and you have to turn on the AC or open the windows in the winter time. We used our own air mattress, sheets, pillows and towels instead of their beds and towels. They provided us with two bedrooms and a kitchen with unfinished cabinets, the inside had splinters all over it. Needless to say we bought our own paper dishes and cups. The rooms are all circa 1970′s we laid sheets down on the couch and sprayed Lysol over the chairs. We had to do the same when we asked to change rooms. The shower was at least clean. They charge an arm and a leg, at least the laundry room is free but not the best. Now, my family and I are going to rent something until we find a decent place to live b/c it is way over priced.

I am a first time college student looking for a futon mattress that is both affordable( max 150$) and isn’t thin enough to feel the bars of the futon(possibly 5-6"?). It is for a full size, bi-fold futon that will be used as a couch more than a bed. I won’t lie and say I’ve searched extensively for them, but I’m not sure where to start looking. Where can I find a mattress, preferably online? Thank you in advance.

I checked Target but they are too small. I want a couch that will fold out into a bed. Sort of like a sleeper sofa.
Keep in mind that I’ll be sleeping in this daily. It’s not for parties or anything.

I bought a memory foam mattress for a considerable amount of money and I think I hate it.

Its so firm, if you flop onto the bed you’ll knock the wind out of yourself.

So many writeups say that after 5 mins you heat it up and you sink into it.

This doesnt seem to be happening – especially because of the layer of convoluted egg-crate foam it has as a pillow top.

I only weigh 140 lbs. I dont "depression" the bed much nor "heat it up" I dont have a whole lot of body heat or insulation to spare myself. And with the convoluted foam layer "pillow top" I dont think im heating the memory foam at all

I can’t sleep on my side because it doesnt ‘sink’ enough. My shoulder and hip start to hurt within 20 minutes. The couch is more comfortable for side sleeping than my bed =/

You watch the commercials and see them push their hand into the bed…. that room must be preheated 90° or something. Theres no way you could do that with mine.

Now I dont know what to do. Can’t return it.
Stuck with a giant queen size 12" memory foam matress

Any advice?

My husband and I decided to move in together 4 months before our wedding.. His ex wife was very upset. She ranted on and on about how it was setting a bad example and blah blah blah.. Their son had his own room in our home prior to our union but I have a son also who is 2X his age. Their son had never slept not even one night in his own room much less even played in there. He had always slept with his father prior to me but I didn’t feel it was appropriate for him to continue to sleep with his father with me in the bed, so we got an air mattress beside our bed and the son was tickled to death that he didn’t have to sleep in another room. I also didn’t feel it was appropriate for him to share a room with my son who is a teenager. So we made the den a play room and he also had the option of bunking on a futon in there but of course he chose not to. The mother acted like a complete fool about this situation. She even went as far as telling the son that our house was infested with spiders and for him to not dare sleep on that mattress. She instructed him to sleep with his father.. And she even told me that I should sleep on the couch while he was there. I had finally had enough of her immaturity.. She sent a full sized cott to our house to put up beside our bed that I sent back the next day with a sweet little NO THANKS!!! She could not accept that she can’t control our household even where her son is concerned.. She freaked out and sent my husband 50 messages about me and even went as far as having her husband call and try to talk him out of marrying me.. All because the son wasn’t allowed to sleep with his father anymore, mind you he was perfectly fine sleeping in the same room and I was fine not sleeping in the same bed.. Mostly out of respect for the mother and then for her to turn it all around on me like im mistreating him… I am still angry with her and problems have progressed to the point that she isn’t allowed to come to our home or so much as pull into the driveway.. I did threaten her at one point because she lied to my husband about a conversation we had and said that I verbally assaulted her.. Me being strong minded let her know exactly how I could assault her if she came back to our house complaining about petty matters again… So, where do I go from here? I mean the relationship is destroyed between myself and her and I have apologized but she is such a fake person. She said that she would of liked to have got to know me but I made it impossible. Which is a lie because we have a mutual friend that invited us both to 2 different social functions prior to our misunderstandings and she called my husband numerous times to find out if I was going so that she would know not to go or not.. HOW RUDE!!!! I mean seriously.. I could of cared less if she was there or not but thinking she would be more comfortable without me there I declined going and told him to tell her to go ahead and she said she was.. Then low and behold she didn’t attend either and neither did I.. So, this makes me believe she didn’t wanna know me but didn’t want her friends to either… Just don’t know where to go with this situation… Any ideas would be helpful
He lives with his mother but they have joint custody. We are every other weekend and Mondays the off wknd and every Thursday until bedtime…

I found a bedbug on my couch, and I just moved into my new apartment! But, I haven’t seen any traces, and only have one welt on my body! There’s no left over skeletons, blood splots, fecal matter, and nothing hiding in the funiture around it; not on the love seat, tables, or on the couch. So, could I have only maybe that one?

I have fibromyalgia, arthritis, and various other causes of constant chronic pain. I have found I sleep better on the couch but I don’t understand why…there is no support. Anyone else find the same?
We already have a sleep number bed.
