I recently purchased a Bob-o-pedic foam mattress. I had always flipped and rotated my normal spring mattresses to prolong the life of the mattress and prevent sags over time. I just flipped my bob-o-pedic and it feels really hard. Are foam mattresses not supposed to be flipped? What is good maintanence for a bob-o-pedic foam mattress? Thanks!
Just asking because I thought spring mattresses are better in boosting one when having sex compared to foam mattresses, what’s your take on this issue?
PS: Currently I have a foam mattress type and I’m contemplating on buying a spring mattress for purposes of increasing efficiency when having sex.

Hmmmm. Camp 2007… Well. We went to Lakewood Lodge Adventure camp and i’d say, the best thing about it was the…. ‘Horse Trekking!’ I rode Peaches. The most scariest, grumpiest horse they had. She thought it would be fun to take a gallop off too see her boyfriend, Bling-Bling. I pulled hard-out on the reins, but, my cyco of a horse still would not stop for me! I’m not sure wether it was my lack of muscle or that she was just disobedient. Oh! and we had an extremley fun Socail. They called it a Disco though (So primary!) Most of the music was hip-hop so me and Avvy (Avalon) went out onto the trampoline and whenever a good song would come on we would run in screaming and start dancing! It was so fun!
Ughhh! Survival night… Well, basically, I HATE not having a bed! We slept on small roll-up foam mattress! To top it off, we spent all day running around building huts out of sticks with our groups. Night was fun! We all sat around the campfire!
Mad Mike (Survival camp instructor) told us a scary story about the ‘Death Tree’ Supposedly, if you touched it you would be cursed. Earlyier that day, me and Jess had both hugged it! I wasn’t scared but some people were! Oh! and let me tell you, nothing is worse then smoke from a campfire blowing into your eyes 24/7! That stung so much!
Over all, i did have a pretty good time. I made lots of new friends from different classes through my group and room. Im sad thats camp over for this year!..

I have a blanket that I want to use as a sheet (poor college student = can’t afford sheets, plus it’s really soft), but the blanket is the same size as the mattress. I have a foam mattress top thingy that I want to attach it to. My first thought was safety pins… but that probably won’t work. I was thinking of sewing a couple stitches here and there across the edges and middle, but maybe there’s something a little easier?

I purchased a foam mattress which I feel contributes to night and nap awakenings. When my LO moves, she ends up making a loud banging sound on the mattress. Would a spring mattress avoid this?
Also, she sleeps better on an adult mattress especially if I use those cuddly blankets. She does not make as much noise.

Thank you everybody. I will look into a spring mattress. The soft cuddly blanket is not fluffy at all. Just a tiny bit furry to muffle out her movements. She did not accept a swaddler after 3 weeks.
Also, the foam mattress is very stiff but I think that creates the loud hollow noise.
When I was a kid, I had this really squeaky spring mattress and slept with the coils digging into my back. That’s what I think of when I hear "spring mattress". I’m trying to make a bed that I can "sink" into without spending too much, I already have the fluffy mattress pad but I am worried about getting a spring mattress cause of what I experienced as a kid. I guess I’m just looking for reassurance that my mattress was just worn out and it won’t feel like that brand new…
And if I am after the kind of bed you "sink into", I’m going to choose a "plush" mattress over a firm one, right? Do you think a spring mattress or a foam mattress is better suited for my purpose? I’m most likely going to get my mattress from Ikea.
you know thoe foam mattress covers you can buy…egg crate on one side flat on the other….few inches thick…would a mouse/rat eat and destroy etc one of those?
*note just foam no actual mattres (its for a cbin)
