Today I found a bed bug on my bed. I got really scared. I searched for the rest of the bed but not able to find any more.

I m planning to move to my new home soon. Need advice what to do with my bed now?
Should I throw it away or take it to my new home?

Will bed bugs be hiding in sofas and other furniture too?

How to find bed bugs in other furnotiure like sofa and dining table?

Please advice.

My parents are having a big garage sale next weekend and they are selling some decent stuff (i.e. furniture, etc.), so it should bring in a decent crowd as far as garage sales go. Anyway, I have a mattress and box spring set that’s been in my storage unit for 3.5 years and I’m going to put it in there. I think I paid 0/650 or so for the set when I bought it. I slept on it for a year and then put it in storage, so it’s about 4.5 years old. It’s queen size by the way.

How much should I list it for?

I’ve also got an older TV, which is about 27" in. What do you think? ? ?

Before I transferred to a new studio apartment, I meticulously sprayed the whole room with insect killer. Most of my furniture are new; I even got a new mattress. But just 2 days after staying in, I woke up with bedbug bites all over my body! Now I’m itching like crazy. The pest control is scheduled 3 days from now so my problem is treating these bites. I’m literally all swollen from numerous bites! Please help!

I am looking for some bright colorful comforters or bed in a bag. I want to make my room more fun. It is pure white walls with black furniture. I have tried every otc shampoo, got a prescription, and tried a few home remedies. After the prescription it was gone for about 3 weeks. Then it showed up again. My ten year old daughter is the only one that has gotten it. I have treated ALL the furniture, bought her a new pillow and bed set. I have put the stuffed animals in bags, sprayed everywhere, vacuumed from top to bottom. I can not even begin to express my level of frustration. Please somebody help!!!! I am getting another prescription but how do I continue to prevent them?

The bed bug situation has gotten out of control. I rented out my house for a year when my sister’s husband died and moved in with her, long story. I could only stand it for 4 months. Rented a 1 bdrm apt for 8 months till my tenant’s lease ran out. When I took posession of my house it was loaded with bedbugs. We are talking 4 double hand fulls of the things in one bedroom. I paid an exterminator almost ,000.00 total and was still having to call him back to exterminate again. I personally think this is a racket and we are being bilked money. They spray and within 30 days you are calling and asking them to come again. The trouble with that is that it was getting increasingly more difficult to get an appointment because the damned bug is everywhere. So I started doing Research. Do bedbugs drink like a cockroach? No, they absorb moisture out of the air. A dehumidifier will inhibit them somewhat. Then I found FOOD GRADE DIATOMACEOUS EARTH. It is an off white powder, kinda looks like boric acid but, not the same thing. Diatomaceous Earth totally sucks the life right out the little buggers. Totally dehydrates them completely.
After the exterminator told me they were all gone. I moved back in my house, only to find out that we still had them. Needless to say the fight was now on. I put double sided sticky tape on all legs of the furniture. I ordered the bedbug interceptor cups and put under every bed leg and coated the legs of the bed with vaseline so they couldn’t climb up. I had already encased every mattress and box springs in heavy plastic, just in case, I am very glad I did. I have had up to 27 bites on me at one time. Since one bedbug will bite you in three places every time unless interrupted (Breakfast, lunch, and dinner) That means 9 of them were on me at one time. This freaked me out and I got mad.
The Diatomaceous earth will make your house a mess, dry your feet out and etc. But it is well worth it. I got mine in a huge bag for .00 at "The Dog works" at 195 thurman avenue, columbus ohio. Phone 614-449-0045. It is totally organic, safe for pets and children, safe to use except you might get burning of the eyes and cough a little but, Hell, I don’t care the damned things are gone. Hi everyone! I’m 22yrs old, moving to a different state in about 2 months, and also will be going to college there. I’ve already picked out an apartment that me and my mom will be sharing. the only furniture that I have right now at my current place in my bed, and thats it. I will be getting rid of it since I’ve had it for awhile now, and plan on decorating my new place/room according to my personality and taste, which is very modern contemporary. I plan on getting a sofa bed instead of a traditional bed, just more convienent, and I’ll have more room..but I need help deciding on which one! they’re both affordable, not too expensive, within my budget for now.

I am going to be moving into housing on the german economy soon. My current apartment is furnished but my new one is not. Before I sign the contract I would at least like to know what the furniture I’ll be getting from the housing office will look like. …get out asap because of mold
I have not been living here that long but it has apparently been leaking since before I moved in- I heard about November or December- and I was wondering what I should do because I was about to move some more furniture in including a bed with a frame and box spring as I’m living on an air mattress here now- and I don’t know if I want to be doing that now as I might want to get out because of the leak and possible mold damage?
