I am browsing through some mattress stores to find a good inner spring mattress, so I wanted to ask does anyone know is Comfort Classic Gentle Firm Queen Size Mattress and Box Spring any good, and how firm it really is since I like firm mattresses.

We are looking at getting a new mattress. We like the Simmons BeautyRest BLACK series, but different stores have different names for the same mattress (I think). We are in Colorado. The 2 mattresses are the Simmon BeautyRest Black Tatiana and Dafne. Are these the same mattresses, just given a different name to make it seem exclusive for that store? Thanks for the help!

What legal action or recourse do you have if you stay at a motel and the managers know the mattresses are infested with bedbugs, etc and you are severely bitten?

I am going on a backpacking trip soon and I want to get a light compact air mattress to buy. I was first going to buy the Neoair Trekker (A lighter cheaper version of the Neoair), but then someone recommended the Peak Elite AC from Pacific Outdoor Equipment.
It is lighter, smaller, cheaper, and even warmer (higher r value) but how does it hold up in the real world?
Which pad do you recommend for backpacking on an extended backpacking trip? Which is better?
I am choosing between these two pads. Please don’t mention any other ones.
Thanks!!

I want to get a memory foam mattress topper. I have a fairly new queen size bed that is in good condition but is just way to firm for me. I prefer very soft, plush mattresses and I’ve tried feather bed toppers and alternative toppers and none of them keep their shape for long enough. I think a memory foam topper is right for me. There is nowhere in my town or neighboring cities where I can test toppers (I can test mattresses but I don’t want to get a false hope of the difference between a whole mattress and just a topper).
My question concerns the density… I’ve done a little bit of research but I’m still confused. I know I want/need something that is 3 to 4 inches thick or more to make a difference on a firm bed… what I don’t know about it density… I want something soft and supportive but not firm… I want to feel like I’m sleeping in a cloud. I have heard so many conflicting opinions and I don’t know what density to get.
3 lbs? 4 lbs? 2 lbs? Help!
I just want help determining what type of density I should consider. I don’t want people to try to change my mind. I’ve done my research on the safety risks associated with memory foam.

We recently purchased a fully contained travel camper I would like to replace the bunk bed mattresses and get new sheets and bunk toppers. Quilts? Comforters? Something that fits bunk beds. Any suggestions where I can find these?

I’ve just treated my mattress with a good beating on the balcony, to un-dust it. Afterwards I felt like I had smoked a whole package of cigs.
Question: Are those dust particles so small that they will stay in my pulmonary alveoli and therefore are hazardous?
(I know about mattresses for allergics and don’t think I need one. Just curious.)
thanx everyone!
i knew about the poop and the lung working stuff up, was just not sure if the particles are too small for that, but i guess not.
i might also buy a spray when i find one.

I am interested in buying a therm-a-rest air mattress for a Philmont backpacking trip and I am torn between the Neoair and the Neoair Trekker. They have the same thickness and look the same, but the Neoair is lighter, smaller, and has a bigger R value. The Trekker is more durable and cheaper, but heavier.
Lightness is essential while backpacking, but should I spend the extra or the Neoair?
Which should I get? I will post the product pages. Thanks so much!

Hey guys – i have a camper that me and my son are taking out for the weekend. Looking for two mattresses for it.
Not sure if there is a special type for a camera (its attached to my pickup truck) due to weight, or size.
let me know- thanks guys!
