I have to say, if you ever have to stay at APGs temporary lodging for more than a month, it’s not worth it. The husband and I had to stay in the pet friendly rooms which is the furthest building away. Our dog is small and very house broken, he is obedient and will hold urges until we take him out — regardless, they asked us to cage our dog if we had to leave (he’s only 17 lbs). We decided to just leave him in one of the back bedrooms of the small smokey two bedroom apartment. One day when the maid came, I said she can clean while I did some work on my laptop (it was just me there at the time) and it wasn’t much to clean, we didn’t even use their beds… and she said "uh we don’t do that while you’re here". I told her to just change the trash and leave. A day later we had note saying they will be there to clean since we left the do not disturb sign on the door. The rooms smelled of smoke (although they stress no smoking) and the heat is controlled — it will stay blasting and you have to turn on the AC or open the windows in the winter time. We used our own air mattress, sheets, pillows and towels instead of their beds and towels. They provided us with two bedrooms and a kitchen with unfinished cabinets, the inside had splinters all over it. Needless to say we bought our own paper dishes and cups. The rooms are all circa 1970′s we laid sheets down on the couch and sprayed Lysol over the chairs. We had to do the same when we asked to change rooms. The shower was at least clean. They charge an arm and a leg, at least the laundry room is free but not the best. Now, my family and I are going to rent something until we find a decent place to live b/c it is way over priced.

I’m getting a double bed, and yesterday I got my pillows and my duvet, both meant for a queen sized bed, because there wasn’t anything for a full sized bed (to my liking) When I get my bed, I don’t want to open the duvet or pillows because if they are too big, I want to be able to return them. Will all the things be too big?
PS the pillows are in a 2 pack so I can’t lay them on the bed 1 by 1 to see if they fit.

Been sleeping on an air mattress for almost a year. I used to sleep on a regular mattress. I don’t know which one I like better.

The air mattress is ok. Back never really hurts, but it gets sore from exercising an unrelated matter.

Sometimes I’ll sleep on pillows on the floor to switch it up, for best firmness.

After sleeping on my floor my bones feel a bit stronger, and they’ll pop snap and crack almost like they were going into place, then it feels pretty good.

That happens on the air matttess too though, just not as much

My husband has this down feather pillow that is about 12 years old. It has been losing feathers for years but he is very picky about his pillows ( which is why I think this one has been around so long) We heard about these pillows that were both memory foam and down ( not the ones with the foam insert, but like a mixture of both). I was wondering if anyone has heard of these pillows? If anyone know where I can find them or any thing.

I asked this in the Home+Garden section, and didn’t seem to be getting very appropiate responses. So I came to the beauty and style section.

I’m a preppy girl who loves fashion, and I don’t want a dark bedroom when it doesn’t reflect my personality at all.

My furniture is dark [looks like mahagony] and has gold pully-thingys. My walls are white, and I’m not painting any of it.

Any suddgestions to glam up this room?

I started getting bit about 8 weeks ago. usually 2 to 3 bites at a time, or just one, sometimes close together, sometimes in various parts of my body. First it was just me for the first few weeks but now all 4 of us in my fam are getting bit, esp me and my little boy. We bombed with flea bombs twice. Then we thought it was bed bugs. We had 4 diff pest controls come and inspect, all 4 said we dont have them. But we still bought bed bug/water proof encasements for our mattresses box springs and pillows, the PCO treated our apt for bed bugs twice, and he was very very thorough, we covered the house in Diatamaceous Earth, we washed every stitch of clothing in our house and put them in air tight bags (which are currently being stored in my moms garage) we are living out of 2 trash bags worth of clothes. we put patrolleum jelly around the legs of the beds, we’v treated the car too, and steam cleaned the couch and the bed and all our chairs. We’v done every thing we can think of but we are still getting bit, and it recently started getting worse. They use to just bite my arms now im getting bit all over my face. IF ANY ONE HAS ANY IDEAS PLEASE HELP US. my poor son is losing his mind and so am i. its one thing for me to deal with it, but its heartbreaking when your 3 year old and 4mnth old have to deal with this too. please help us

Im a stay at home mom, we almose never leave, i have no car when hubby leaves for work, we’r not picking up something from somewhere else

and ive been using the same detergent for a year now, plus both my kids have eczema so everything we use is no scent and hypoallergenic.

they are definitely bites and extremely itchy and deff not scabies

I’m a Libra sun and I have two pillows that I sleep with at night.
