My futon mattress’s filling (stuffing) if just pretty much stuffing that you would find in some of those TV pillows. Not just a piece of foam, but a kinda heavy stuffing I guess. Anyway, the top side of the mattress won’t stop folding down on top of the side parallel to the ground. Any ideas on how to fix this?

How to prop pillows while sleeping on an air bed?

So I am going camping soon and will be sleeping on an airbed which is fine except for I prefer to have my pillows slanted at-least a little when i sleep and the air mattress I will be sleeping on does not have a built in pillow. In the past my ideas usually ended up with my head slipping down and waking up with a somewhat stiff neck.. I prefer to do that as little as possible. I have a few no cost ideas of my own for this year that may work but I wanted to see if anyone else had any better ideas first. Thanks.

I like to spray perfume on myself after showering/before going to bed, but I guess no one else does this lol?? Anyway, I know several people who wear body spray to bed. Why is wearing body spray to bed more acceptable than wearing perfume?
Live, I spray my perfume on my pillows when I’m washing the cases because I love it so much! And sunny I don’t wear my perfume for anyone else, I wear it because I love the smell haha, but you’re right that could get a little costly!

I’ve heard that you should change the pillows on your bed, every so often, and was wondering how often?? And is the whole vacuuming the mattress for the "bedbugs" rings true?

I suffer from both GERD (Acid Reflux Disease) and TMJ (Jaw disorder). Our bed is a pillow top that is very soft, and the pillows we use are wearing down fast. I wake up every morning with a headache and can barely open my mouth b/c of the jaw pain. Sometimes my sleep is restful, and other times it isn’t. My Chiropractor said it could be my mattress that is the problem. He suggested the Sleep Number bed, but it’s super expensive. I know it would be a good investment in the long run, but right now, my fiance and I are right in the middle of planning our wedding, honeymoon, and a trip to visit his grandpa in Connecticut this summer (we’re from Illinois). So we do not have a lot of money right now. I value a good night’s sleep and it’s very important to me. I want to go mattress shopping very soon as a temporary solution for a few years to get by until we have the money for something like a sleep number. How can I determine what mattress is right for me before I buy it?

How can I find and get rid of bed bugs?

I have bed bugs. I get multiple bites on my hands almost every night.

I have enclosed the boxspring with a latex cover, but the bites continue. I’ve sprayed with Home Depot insecticide, which says on the bottle that it kills bedbugs. I’ve sprayed every inch of my bedroom with this junk, multiple MULTIPLE times, including spraying the mattress. I’ve also done the routine of washing all bedding in hot water (I do it just about weekly).

I’ve spent so much money on this, it’s ridiculous, from replacing pillows to paying exterminators to buying mattress enclosures. Do I really have to just accept that insects dine on my blood nightly and smear it on my sheets as they depart? Do I have to move and trash all furniture and belongings? Should I go to bed in a beekeeper’s suit? What’s a guy to do?

The experts say to get a good nights sleep one should have the head of their bed facing north.
How many blankets do you put on your bed?

I sleep on the right side. But if I had to I could sleep on the left side. It does not make a difference to me.
I have about 8 pillows and I love having so many.
I have a quilt in the summer time. It is light weight.
In winter I have the quilt and a heavy fleece blanket.

Bean bag for a bed any other suggestions?

My son needs to sleep at a 45 degree angle or higher because of respiratory and digestive problems.

We found a wedge, but it requires him to sleep in a specific position, then we though of a hanging chair hammock and we can swing him to sleep. Then we figured a large bean bag would best.
He’s almost 3. I tried everything and he usually thrashes a lot and ends up flat next to the mountain of pillows.

Most of the time I hold him upright in the recliner, but I am getting so wore out. I need sleep and time with my husband.

i love shopping for new bed sets don’t know why but i just like to change up the look of my room. for my daughters room i over spent and bought a bed in a bag, its nice but because i like to change it up so often i wish i wouldn’t of splurge on that set. then i also bought another sheet set for her bed when her other sheets are in the wash. and for my bed my husband bought another expensive set which i really like but i once again bought yet another comforter with pillow shams. i think that two sets for each bed is enough? or should i look around for more sheet sets/pillow cases for the beds? my daughter has a twin size bed and four pillows and my queen size bed has six pillows so even when i buy a new set im a few pillow cases short and can never find matching pillow cases sold separately, so i get a sheet set that matches. i don’t really now what im asking just frustrated that i cant ever find enough pillow cases lol. anyways how often do you buy a new bed set and how many do you already have for your bed?
