I have never used sleeping pills before. I brought something called "Maximum strength sleep aid" (Diphenhydramine HCI). I want to know 3 things:
1) How long do I have to wait before they kick in?
2) How long will it knock me out?
3) How long after I wake up will the effect wear off?
It is 50mg each.

At bases are they required to sleep in uniform or do they (males) get boxers and shirt? Can you Rome around on base at night if you want or are you required to stay in your sleeping quarters? Do bases have bars? How long can they sleep?

This is the case. Some nights I would wake up from sleep at 3 or 4 in the morning. Then i wouldnot sleep for sometime, and just before dawn i would drowse off into this half sleep where i get literally paralysed. I cant move my body and i cant speak, but i am not asleep. This happens only when i sleep alone. Is there a sleep disorder or some kind of medical justification for this? Please help!

I have a college Chemistry test Monday and I want to prepare as much as possible on Sunday. How many hours of sleep would allow me to wake up rested enough to study but not too rested as to waste time? I want to say 7 hours but I’m not sure if that is correct. I sleep 10 hours yesterday night on accident and wasted a lot of time I could have studied on Saturday.

I’m not talking about drinking and sleeping for 16 hours, but about going through particularly stressful and mildly traumatic events and simply plopping on the bed and going to sleep for the next 16 hours. Is sleep a kind of coping mechanism against stress — specially one that’s so long?

I am trying to assemble my sleep number mattress and the side foam walls dont line up. Does anyone have any knowledge about this? Driving me crazy

My 7 month old will not sleep for more than an hour at a time at night and wakes up crying and fussing and I can’t do anything to help calm him down….
Are there any methods that I can read about to help my son sleep better?
What book would u recommend?

I need a new mattress and have read a few brochures on both the sleep number beds and the temperpedic beds. I was wondering if anyone who has one of these beds can tell me first hand whether or not they like them and why. thanks:)

I start school in a few days, I start getting my body used to the sleep hours early but due to the summer sleep hours I can’t go to sleep until sometime after midnight. Any idea’s to get me to go to sleep at night without medication? I’ve tried reading, no caffeine, no food things like that. Any help?
