i am currently "getting to know" this guy that i work with. yesterday we went hiking and camping with a group of coworkers, and we all got super drunk at the campsite and had a great time. but when it came time to go inside our tent, he didn’t try to sleep with me. we were on the same air mattress and were spooning but he didn’t try anything, and when i asked why he said it’s because i’m underage and that he didn’t want to take advantage of me while i wasn’t using my best judgment. he is 21 and i am 17, and we go out and hang out every once in a while, and we text every day. he seems to be interested in me at least a little bit, but do you think he just wants a friendship and not a relationship? or do you think he truly just is a nice guy and didn’t want to take advantage of me?

I was camping out with 3 of my friends, but one of them couldn’t be bothered to bring a tent, so we ended up pumping a double inflatable mattress and some how we all managed to fit on it with sleeping bags – later on however, when it was very dark – we all were looking at the night sky and occasionally we saw a small bright light shoot very quickly across the sky leaving what appeared to be a blue trail but only for a second, we saw this happen around 6 times but due to how small and spontaneous they are, i only saw 3-4. What do you think we saw? Thank you for your time.
Urm, for some reason i can’t reply to the answer down there but notice the ‘we’ and not ‘i’ – that probably sums up why i only saw 3-4.

Okay I just got back from a 4 day camping/canoeing/kayaking trip in northern Michigan. I slept in a tent on an air mattress with my cousin. It was possible for bugs to crawl in though. When we got home we both noticed 6 to 10 tiny bug bites on our hands and ankles. So I’m wondering what kind of bug it is. Please help!!! Thank you! Let me know if you need more info!

So here goes the story…
I had a friend when I was 10 years old and we were the best of buddies. But a year later I moved an hour away and communication between us just stopped. Six years later and I bump into him at a pool party. We quickly become close again and I am becoming REALLY attracted to him. But I want to know if he feels the same for me. There are some things that might prove that he is gay but I need help deciphering them. 1. He has a great personality and uses smileys in his texts. 2. When putting on a dress shirt, he asked me to fix his collar and make it right. 3. He is fine with me seeing him and sleeping with him in his boxers. 3. Acts gay to be funny. 4. Now here is a big one, we went camping with a bunch of friends. All of us guys shared a huge tent and my friend and I shared a queen air mattress. Before we went to bed I asked if we should use our sleeping bags or use sheets on the air mattress. He said sheets. Then during the night he asked for a back message while we were laying down. So of course I did, he said I sucked and went to bed. Next night he asked again and we were sitting on the mattress this time and he was just in his boxers. This time he said it felt great and asked if he could lay on his stomach. when he did that I grabbed a pillow and sat on his butt and continued the message. I used the pillow because I didn’t want him to feel junior. lol. That morning I woke up and his head was right under my chin… So what do you think? But he does act really straight and is on the football team. Am I totally crazy or am I on to something? And also one important thing is that we are both a part of this religion that strongly disapproves of homosexuals. So I cant just straight up ask him. Please help me!

My SO and I plan to take our 6.5 month old camping within the next month. We have a tent that fits 2 people. It’s too small to put her play yard in so she would have to sleep with us on a foam mattress on the ground.
Should we just go out and spend 0 on a bigger tent?
I was thinking it might even be a good idea to use the small tent as a play area to keep her safe and out of the sun while she’s playing. She’s already crawling backwards and very close to going forwards so she would want to be on the ground getting in to everything.
Is this a good plan?
Is there anything you strongly recommend bringing when taking a baby camping?
It’s about a 3 hour drive from here but it’s a 10 minute drive to a small town.
What was your experience with taking a baby camping?

We’re traveling, more specifically, from Burbank to Pflugerville in a couple weeks.
We’ll be on the I-10 E most of the way. We want to make the trip in two days. Just generally curious what to expect. How bad is the heat this time of year. Is the trip scenic? Are there any spots where traffic is likely to be crappy?
We’re planning to camp one night, maybe near Las Cruces. We’ve got an air mattress and a couple of sleeping bags, but no tent. Are bugs or animals likely to be a problem?
Thanks!

my boyfriend and I are trying to plan a camping trip during the last week of july but we can’t seem to figure out where to go. Obv. the end of july in the north east is pretty hot and humid so I am trying to figure out where the best location would be. Would going down the shore and being near/at the beach be better, for swimming and the ocean breeze, or would the mountains be a little cooler and less humid?
The only thing my boyfriend cares about doing is fishing and having a campfire and just relaxing, and in addition to that it would be nice if there was free/inexpensive things to do in the area [for example we went to Cape May last year and there's the zoo which is free, the lighthouse which is cheap and all the beaches]
I would prefer to stay in a cabin but we do have a big tent and an air mattress if necessary.
Also I am thinking of no more than about a 3-4 hour drive, we live in central nj so I am basically thinking south jersey, north east/central PA, possibly upstate NY or even maybe DE or MD.
any opinions either beach or mountains or any suggestions of good places to go would be appreciated!!

And well it was suppose to be just me and my boyfriend, Brandon.
But we really didn’t know how to take down the tent so his dad felt the need to drive 100 miles out here to help us take down the tent for the next day. We stayed Friday afternoon- Sunday morning.
His dad showed up at Saturday afternoon and wanted to sleep in the tnt with us.
Which would be very akaward for one and two there wasn’t a lot of room left because we have an air mattress in there. And Clint, Brandon’s dad snores like crazy.
And the whole night he was jokingly saying how he’s going to sleep in the tent and Brandon was jokingly saying how his dad won’t sleep in the tent with us, and that he can sleep in the back of his car, etc.
Brandon really thought that he didn’t want to sleep in the tent with us.
Clint slept in the lawn chair by the fire.
But when we woke up he was really mad.
And Monday morning here, he’s still really mad.
I’m currently living with him
So how or what can I do to resolve this? Any ideas?

Me and my family haven’t been camping since 2007. We always would go to Saint Andrews. It’s a campground in Florida. We already know we have to have a tent. We have air beds. But we aren’t going hiking or anything. Last year we took an air conditioner and stuck it in the tent and had the back of it outside of the door part. And we took a little grill. And coolers. But what else do we need other than that stuff?
